Simple Savings - Price Matching Trash Service

Our trash removal service bill recently went up to $15.50 per month for once a week service. When another company sent out ads offering the same service for $12.50 per month, I called our current hauler and asked if they matched competitor's pricing. The representative made a note of it on our account and asked me to fax or mail the flier to them and said they would match the price starting with our next billing cycle. It was a relatively painless way to save a few bucks on our bill each month.
